RevBuilders Announces New Online Marketing Workshops for all Businesses

GAINESVILLE, VA., March 29, 2012
– In an effort to increase business’ awareness of online marketing, and to assist people in basic online strategies that are effective, Scot Small, President and CEO of RevBuilders Marketing, is developing a series workshops meant to educate people regarding marketing online.

The workshops will range from “Strategies to Dominate Your Market” to a more in-depth look of the various fields in online marketing: web design, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, link building and e-mail marketing, among others.

“Marketing may have some basic elements that always remain the same,” says Small, “but the strategies and implementations of marketing continue to change each year.” According to Small, the shift to online has only increased the need for online marketing, at such a pace that many may feel inadequately trained or informed of what they should be doing.

“My passion is to help people and companies grow,” says Small. “I am always surprised how many small businesses are in the dark about online marketing and are getting left behind. There is no reason for this to happen. Our goal is to teach some simple online strategies that can be implemented by the small business owner that will have an immediate impact on their business.”

With over 80% of the American population using the Internet (according to Nielsonwire, July 5, 2011), businesses are finding that they must look to the Internet to find their target audience.

Mr. Small indicates that intimidation can often lead businesses to abandon marketing efforts entirely. “The worst thing a company can do is to stop marketing. But sometimes people feel so overwhelmed with the change to online that they do the worst thing possible by stopping all marketing efforts completely! You can’t stop marketing. You just have to press ahead, keep learning, find people that know about marketing, and try something. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing, or where you’re going, the last thing you want to do is stop moving.”
