GAINESVILLE, Va., January 24, 2012 – Scot Small, President and CEO of RevBuilders Marketing, has been appointed co-chair of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce’s marketing committee.
Small shares the appointment with John Brand, President and CEO of Brand Design.
The marketing committee was first formed in order to revamp the chamber’s branding, retiring the chamber’s earlier logo, which had been in use since the chamber’s founding. The committee’s continued goal is to use online and print avenues to bring increased visibility to the Fauquier Chamber and chamber events.
The stated goal of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce is to help businesses by promoting a business environment in the county which is receptive to commerce, as well as promoting economic growth in the area. “This is summed up in our new slogan: ‘Better Business. Better Community,’” says Small.
When asked about the appointment, Small was enthusiastic. “The rebranding was long overdue. The chamber is moving forward and really embracing online, social, and modern marketing techniques in general. It’s great news, and I look forward to seeing how the chamber evolves over the next year or so in its marketing strategies.”
