With an increasing need to provide design services to its expanding client base, RevBuilders Marketing is excited to announce the hiring of Matthew Thomas Small. Small is a recent graduate from George Mason University, School of Arts, and received a BA in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design.
Spending most of his childhood and adult life in Northern Virginia, Small has always enjoyed the appeal of an East Coast lifestyle. Whether it’s traveling by train to New York’s Soho or Chelsea neighborhoods for art openings, driving the divine heights of the Blue Ridge Parkway, or swimming under the sun in the Outer Banks, Small loves to gallivant. His consistent delight in experiencing new opportunities can be directly reflected in his diversity of work.
Beginning an early career as a freelance graphic designer while still a student, Small established the beginnings of his portfolio working with AIGA, a national design associate of which he is a current member. Small’s freelance client list includes numerous, mid-sized television stations, a national Christian association and multifarious small businesses. In the past, and increasingly now, Small participates in promotional, art-exhibit design showcases and/or competitions.
Upon his graduation from George Mason University, Small began the initial phases of his career working for a design firm in Washington D.C. The recruitment of his abilities by a former professor and business owner granted Small the opportunity to work alongside a leading authority in the field of corporate branding and identity. Small refined his skills as a consultant, developing clients’ visual language, brand definitions and promotional strategies.
Small’s current expertise centers around corporate specification and resolution, including visual identity, brand messaging, user interfacing and communication. He intends to provide a dynamic, gifted and capable skill set to RevBuilders, in all aspects of client maturation. RevBuilders Marketing is thrilled to welcome him to the company, and especially to all of their clients.
