As you read your content aloud, you will naturally hear the things which sound awkward. Since most people read by mentally “sounding” words that they see, they will pick up on these same awkward moments. If something you are reading aloud isn’t put the way you would say it, rewrite it so that it is put in such a way.
A good press release can mean lots of free publicity, while a bad press release means wasting a lot of time and possibly money. However, when first starting out, many businesses do not pursue the press release as an option as a result, believing that it requires money to create a release that will gain widespread circulation.
Most writers do not get paid enough for their work for independent research to be worth their while. Therefore, a lot of what the modern copywriter is learning to do is to simply repackage the information which is given to them when the project is assigned. While you can pay a writer enough that they’ll do research on their own, chances are it’s not in your budget most of the time, especially when you need something big, like 60 pages of web content.
